I designed and prototyped a smart knife handle for German cutlery manufacturer Friedrich DICK. It has embedded sensors that respond to gestures with intelligent vibration feedback, guiding the user through precise cutting motions.
Within a 5 days timeframe I moved from sketching, crafting foam mockups and tinkering on breadboards to CAD modeling, Arduino programming, soldering, 3D-printing, assembling and (after a sleepless night) presenting a demo.
The project was developed and showcased at Bezalel Academy, and the CAD model is available here.
